The KIDDE P3010L WORRY-FREE LIVING AREA 10-YEAR SEALED LITHIUM BATTERY OPERATED SMOKE ALARM is designed to provide hassle-free protection in the living area. Powered by a sealed long-life lithium battery, this alarm is always on, ensuring peace of mind for a decade.
The sealed-in lithium battery prevents tampering or removal, operating 24/7 for the entire lifespan of the alarm. This eliminates the need to replace batteries, doing away with the frustrating low-battery chirps that often occur late at night.
Featuring a photoelectric smoke sensor programmed to reduce nuisance alarms, the KIDDE P3010L also includes a hush button to temporarily silence any false alarms. The test-reset button allows for easy testing of the alarm's circuitry and horn, while also resetting the memory after the alarm has sounded.
When the alarm reaches the end of its 10-year lifespan, an end-of-life signal will chirp every 30-45 seconds, indicating that the unit needs to be replaced. A deactivation switch is provided to disable the alarm and make the batteries safe for disposal.
Additionally, the tamper feature prohibits a disabled alarm from being placed back onto the mounting bracket, ensuring the safety of the living area. The alarm is UL listed and emits an 85-decibel alarm, providing reliable and effective smoke detection.
Ideal for the living area, the KIDDE P3010L is designed with location-specific safety needs in mind. Each of the four smoke alarms includes features such as an LED light in the hallway, making it the right alarm for the right location.
