The 2-in-1 Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector Combo alerts you to both smoke and fire events, as well as the presence of poisonous carbon monoxide gas, all in a single device. The photoelectric sensor is designed to detect visible fire particles associated with slow, smoldering fires, while the electrochemical sensor is responsible for detecting carbon monoxide.
When either smoke, fire, or carbon monoxide is detected, an 85-decibel alarm will sound, and a red LED will indicate the smoke detector is sensing the hazard. Powered by a reliable lithium battery, this detector eliminates the need for battery replacement, ensuring continuous and dependable detection, even during power outages.
For added convenience, the Test-Hush button makes it easy to test the smoke detector and silence any false alarms that may occur due to cooking or shower steam. The alarm will automatically activate when it is attached to the mounting bracket, eliminating the need for pull tabs or switches - everything is entirely automatic.
At the end of the alarm's lifespan, the unit will emit a chirping sound, alerting you that it's time to replace the device. Backed by a 10-Year limited manufacturer warranty on the alarm itself (not a battery performance claim), this detector is UL listed for your safety and peace of mind. The warranty period begins when the alarm is powered on, and if the original activation date is unknown, it is recommended to assume replacement is necessary.
