Kidde Worry Free 10 year Smoke Alarms are powered by a sealed, 10 Year lithium battery, meaning the alarm is always on and operational. The alarm features a unique sensor algorithm that detects real fires faster and reduces nuisance alarms. With a sealed, long-life lithium battery combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarm installed near the kitchen, where most potential sources of CO are located, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your kitchen alarm is always on; 24 hours/day, seven days a week for a decade.
The Smoke and carbon monoxide detector Alerts to the type of threat, and the Kitchen combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarm is maintenance-free; never needing a battery replacement. The Alarm is UL listed and is equipped with a piezoelectric horn that is rated at 85dB at 10 ft. The end-of-life signal tells you when it is time to replace the alarm.
The Alarm should be placed near sources of CO. With its sealed-in 10-year sealed in battery, there are significant money savings, as no batteries need to be bought and replaced every 6-months, saving up to $40.00 over the life of the alarm. The Alarm is also tamper resistant and UL/CSFM Ref Kidde P3010K-CO certified.
The Alarm is equipped with a test - reset button, which tests the circuitry and horn and resets the memory after the alarm has sounded. It is available in a 3 pack and is a combination Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Alarm, with no connector/contact type and operates on 3 volts. The Alarm features include a 10-Year Battery, Hush Feature, and Tamper Resistance, and is suitable for both Commercial and Residential use.
