Kidde 10-Year Battery Interconnect Smoke & CO Alarm with Voice Alert
The Kidde Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector, model P4010DCSCO-W, is a combination smoke and CO alarm that is powered by a 10-year, sealed, lithium battery to ensure protection during a power failure. Utilizing photoelectric sensing technology, this device is capable of detecting smoke, fire, and carbon monoxide gas, and it alerts the user through an 85-decibel alarm, LED lights, and voice technology.
For carbon monoxide detection, the alarm will sound with 4 fast beeps and a voice alert stating "warning carbon monoxide". In the event of smoke detection, the alarm will sound with 3 beeps and the announcement of "Fire". A red LED will flash in unison with the voice alarm, warning of fire, carbon monoxide, and low battery.
The Smart Hush feature allows the user to silence the fire alarm for approximately 8 minutes. This device is designed to be interconnected with up to 24 other Kidde devices in a multiple station arrangement, with a maximum of 18 initiation devices, of which 12 can be smoke alarms. Even with 18 interconnected initiating devices (smoke, heat, CO, etc.), it is still possible to interconnect 6 strobe lights and/or relay modules.
The Kidde Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector is UL Certified and comes with a 10-year limited warranty. It meets the requirements of UL 2034, UL217, NFPA72, the State of California Fire Marshall, NFPA 101, FHA, and HUD. The low battery warning feature ensures that the user is alerted when the battery needs replacement.
